Lightspeed just got even faster
The Lightspeed was built with the goal to create the fastest trail running shoe in the world; now it is even faster with its updated and upgraded upper construction.
The Lightspeed 2’s new durable one-piece upper is constructed of extremely light and breathable multizone engineered mesh, reducing overall weight and allowing you to run quicker with less effort.
The SuperFOAMance midsole is made of ultralight nitrogen-infused material that offers extreme cushioning and energy return. This midsole foam is a modern, supercritical foam that’s lighter, more responsive and more propulsive than a traditional EVA foam.
The midsole is finished with a branched composite plate that adds torsional stability and reduces energy loss, propelling you forward while protecting against rough terrain.
Our famous Superior Contact butyl rubber outsole and 3.5mm lugs take care of grip in any terrain, while our innovative Fitlock system offers optimal fit and protection for the arch.
This shoe is designed to be used without insoles, but insoles will be shipped with the shoes.

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, wearing the socks you'd run in. Mark the paper just past your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark. Do both feet and use the longer one.

These sizes are a racing fit, with only a couple of millimetres of room at the toe. If you're between sizes or want more room, go up a size.
How wide does it fit?
VJ grades every shoe from 1 (narrow) to 5 (wide). A narrow fit keeps your foot still on fast, technical ground. A wide fit suits wider feet and long races, when feet tend to swell.
